Emerald Waterways has announced the latest ship to join its ever-growing Star-Ship fleet. Emerald Luna will arrive in 2021 and become the ninth vessel in the series, bringing all of the popular features that customers have experienced on board her sisters.

That means that you can look forward to enjoying the innovative indoor pool that effortlessly transforms into a cinema in the evening, the sliding balconies that can be opened and closed at the touch of a button depending on the weather, and spacious staterooms and suites.

Due to ply the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, Emerald Luna will make her debut in the spring next year. Her addition brings even more capacity to a region of Europe that cruisers love to explore, giving you even more choice when sailing these rivers.

Along with Emerald Luna, new itineraries (also for 2021) have been announced. A 10-day Springtime Delights cruise offers the chance to visit the beautiful Keukenhof Gardens and a first stop for Emerald in the Belgian city of Hasselt. There’s also the addition of an 8-day Legendary Rhine and Moselle cruise that travels throughout Germany from Mainz to Bernkastel.

The new additions do not end there, though. 2021 will also see a range of new shore excursions launched under the existing categories of EmeraldPLUS (activities that offer something exclusive or extra-special) and EmeraldACTIVE (activities at a faster pace). The former may take the form of an architecture tour in Rotterdam that visits the MarktHal or a local beer tasting in a Belgian village, whilst the latter could see you venture out on a guided hike to the Niederwalddenkmal monument in Rüdesheim am Rhein.
